I haven’t been able to update very often for the past few weeks because I’ve been attending blacksmithing courses and my friend and I have been setting up our own little amateur forge. We’ve even started a blog to document our adventures at ForgeFire.Wordpress.Com

“Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire and brings forth an instrument for his works, and I have created the destroyer to lay waste.” Isaiah 54:16

Now that I think of it, I’ve never really mentioned my other blog either. It’s called Yeast Poop. My brother and I started it to document our home-brewing experiences.

In the area of politics, I’ll be attending and documenting one of these Tax Day Tea Party events. I hate poltical rallies. But this one might be fun. I have the sneaking suspicion that it will just be a bunch of disgruntled Republicans who are mad that Obama got elected. Ok, ok. Technically I’m a disgruntled ex-Repblican too but I don’t have very many views in common with that crowd anymore. Most of them will be there to chant and hold signs and to “take their country back”, meaning get their pet politicians elected to positions of power in the government. I don’t want ANYONE ruling over my life. I’m going in the off chance that some liberty minded folks will be there. Maybe I’ll pass out some Free Talk Live fliers. Or hey, maybe even some fliers for this blog! Now there’s an idea!

Of course I’ll also be documenting the event so be sure to check back after tax day if you want to see some pictures from one of the Tea Parties in a Major City. It should be interesting.
