I’m going to sit here with my delicious beer from Stone BRewery and watch the debate. I’ll add my commentary in real time…at least as long as my interest lasts. Neither candidate will ever have my vote but let’s see if they can atleast hold my attention. Here we go….

Just turned on the debates. Missed the first 10 minutes but really who cares? McCain vaguely references the military and claims he’ll hold people responsible in his administration. Yeah right. Obama replies by plugging his universal socialst healthcare scheme.

McCain will veto EVERY SINGLE spending Bill that comes across his desk? I think he might have misspoke but I look foreward to holding him to that promise.

Obama won’t raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 per year. But will he cut taxes? And of course that means he’ll RAISE taxes on the wealthy. The wealthy are the ones that start buisiness and create jobs. The more the wealthy and their businesses are taxed, the fewer average people they can afford to employ.

Obama wants to strike Pakistan even though they recently said they didn’t want the US in their country and have even fired on US troups that got too close to the border. Obama is just as much of a warmonger as McCain. Both parties are the same.

STOP SAYING “TALIBAN”! My wife (who speaks arabic) told me that “Taliban” means “two students.” The name of the terrorist organization is “TALBAN” which means “To ask (Allah for Jihad)”. The world is laughing at our politicians and mocking our newscasters for getting the name of the organization wrong for over a decade.

Obama: “We need to rebuild the Georgian economy.” What about OUR economy? We can’t even afford all the socialism we’ve got going on here, how are we supposed to help out on the other side of the planet?

Does that mean you’ll roll back some of the Draconian “national security” policies like the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. ACT and warrentless wire-tapping? No? Didn’t think so.

Obama: “We are spending more than $10billion per month in Iraq…”Me: Yay! Go Obama!
Obama: “…and that means we can’t provide healthcare to people that need it.”
Me:You scumbag, Obama. I’d like to KEEP my share of that $10billion per month. I don’t want you to redirect it from the war into YOUR pet projects. It doesn’t matter to me where you spend my money, either way, it’s gone. I just want my money back.
